Information we may collect

When an applicant sends an enquiry, we may receive identity and contact details, residence and business locations, approximate financial ranges, objectives, timelines and information voluntarily supplied in the email.

Please do not send sensitive identifiers

Do not submit passport copies, tax numbers, bank credentials, account numbers, health information or confidential legal documents through the initial application form. A secure channel will be provided later if required.

Purposes and lawful grounds

Information may be used to assess fit, respond to enquiries, prepare an engagement, deliver contracted services, meet legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests. The applicable lawful ground will depend on the interaction and governing law.

Professional network

Information is not shared with a proposed specialist or provider without an appropriate basis and, where required, the client’s approval. Each independent professional may act as a separate controller under their own privacy notice.

Retention

Application and enquiry data that does not result in an engagement is retained for no longer than 12 months after the last substantive contact. Client and engagement records are retained for the duration of the relationship and for up to six years after it ends, unless a longer period is required to comply with applicable law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are selected and documented before the transfer takes place, where required by applicable data protection law.
